  3. We are all so very blessed. I remind myself daily. We have sponsored kids before, and just last year our kids and their cousins gave up buying gifts for each other, and started putting money towards a purpose such as this. They love to buy animals for people in need! It’s been such a good thing for the kids to be aware of, and to contribute to. Very lovely post and salad AND set of spoons!

  5. This is a wonderful post! I sponsored several children through World Vision over the years and they really are a fantastic organization. Those spoons are gorgeous! And your salad? Well, that’s the kind of comfort dish I’d be happy to serve at least once a week.

    1. They really are a great organization Dara. That’s great that you’ve sponsored children before. We are looking forward to gifting this year. The salad was delish…my hubs said “Black rice and pumpkin” then turned up his nose. After lunch he proclaimed that I could make that anytime. Men! 🙂 Thanks for commenting.
