Yeasted Bread
Yeasted bread is bread made with yeast as the leavening agent. Yeast ferments sugars in the dough, producing carbon dioxide, which causes the dough to rise and develop a light, airy texture. This type of bread often requires proofing (resting) periods to allow the yeast to activate. The process typically involves mixing, kneading, proofing, shaping, and baking, but the end result – magical!
