If you are looking for an Easy Alfredo Sauce recipe, then search no further! Make your own alfredo sauce with a handful of simple ingredients and best part is that it comes together in a snap. It’s silky, creamy, and perfect with your favorite pasta. This is one of my favorite recipes using fresh ingredients.
I definitely love pasta and there’s nothing like a weeknight alfredo to fill my heart with love. The best part about this simple recipe is there’s no roux and you basically just toss it all into a saucepan and heat it up. It’s seriously that easy. This is an American-style alfredo sauce recipe so if you’re looking for a traditional alfredo, this one is probably not for you.

How to make homemade alfredo sauce
The recipe is simple and comes together in just a few minutes. I highly recommend grating your own parmesan and not using pre-shredded cheeses as they are coated in an anti-caking powder which can make your sauce results differ. Full recipe and instructions are listed below.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and cream cheese, stir until melted. Whisk in heavy cream, milk, and garlic powder until smooth. Stir in parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt. Remove from the heat and toss with your favorite pasta.
