Ingredients you’ll need to make Pineapple Sorbet
- Fresh pineapple
- Honey or sugar
- Half & Half – full fat or fat free
How to make this recipe for no-churn sorbet
Add the pineapple chunks to a blender and blend until smooth. Then add the honey and half and half and blend until just combined. Pour the pineapple mixture through a fine mesh sieve set over a bowl, pressing on any solids. Place bowl in the freezer for 30 minutes. Stir and freeze for another 1 to 2 hours. You can also use your ice cream maker after freezing for the first 30 minutes, if you have one. But both ways work.

Yes! You can substitute granulated sugar or a sugar substitute. Add to your liking. If using sugar substitute, only add small amounts at a time.
You sure can! This recipe would be great with strawberries or fresh peaches. Freezing times will vary.
If you store in an airtight container, it should last 3 weeks or longer.

- NOTE: If using an ice cream maker, freeze the cold pineapple mixture according to the manufacturer’s recommended instructions. Just before the mixture becomes solid, remove it to a freezer proof dish and freeze for 1 to 2 hours before serving.

We’re doing something similar starting next Monday, but I will cook 2 splurges per week for the blog…plus one other more healthy choices.
