This simple Zesty Peach Salsa recipe uses fresh ripe juicy peaches, jalapeños, garlic, shallots, and a squirt of lime juice. Use this delicious peach salsa to top grilled chicken, grilled fish, your favorite tacos, or just dive a tortilla chip in and enjoy. Just make it because it’s so delicious and a great way to use sweet peaches when they are ripe and in season.

This homemade peach salsa comes together so quickly and really adds incredible flavor to whatever you put it on. Just toss together a few fresh ingredients and you have a delicious way to top grilled fish, chicken, pork tenderloin, and tacos.
Ingredients & Substitutions
Fresh peaches
Shallots, red onion or sweet onions
Jalapeño pepper
Garlic cloves
Cilantro
Lime juice
Salt, to taste
How to Make
Peel and chop peaches into small pieces and add to a medium bowl. Add minced shallot, minced fresh jalapeños, minced garlic cloves, fresh cilantro, fresh lime juice, and season to taste with salt. Toss to combine. Salsa can be served right away or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight to add depth of flavor.
Tips & Tricks
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
- This fresh peach salsa recipe can also be canned. Following a canning process you’ve had success with before.
- Canned peaches could work for this recipe, give it a try and let me know how it turns out.
- Omit or reduce the jalapeños if you’d prefer a less spicy flavor or a mild salsa.
- Use this recipe for other fruit to make cherry salsa, watermelon salsa, plum salsa, or mango salsa.
Zesty Peach Salsa
Ingredients
- 4 whole peaches peeled, pitted, and diced
- 2 small shallots minced
- 2 jalapenos minced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ½ bunch cilantro coarsely chopped
- 1 lime juiced
- salt to taste
