Instructions
In a small saucepan, whisk together the milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice.
Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring until hot but not boiling.
Brew strong coffee or espresso and pour it into your favorite mug.
Froth the pumpkin-milk mixture using a whisk, milk frother, or immersion blender until it’s light and foamy.
Pour the pumpkin milk over the coffee and stir gently to combine.
Top with whipped cream and a dusting of pumpkin pie spice, if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy your cozy fall latte.
Notes
Tips for Storing
Store leftover pumpkin milk mixture (without coffee) in the refrigerator for up to
3 days
.
Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, whisking to recombine before adding to fresh coffee.
Do not store assembled lattes, as the foam and coffee lose their texture after sitting.
Freeze leftover pumpkin puree in ice cube trays to use in future lattes or baking.
