2012! Honestly, it feels like this year has flown by right before my eyes. Heck, I think I still write down 2011 for the year. It’s hard to believe that it’s almost over, but when one door closes a new door opens. 2013 is going to be a great year. I can feel it already. I have started detailing out goals for growing Farmgirl Gourmet and if all goes as planned, then I will need to pinch myself this time next year to make sure it’s all really real.
Before I move on to recipes, I just want to say Thank You. Thank you to my friends, family and fellow bloggers who continue to support and encourage me. Thank you to the new eyeballs that may be reading FG for the first time ever. I appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to bringing you more interesting deliciousness in the new year. Happy New Year to you and yours and goodbye to 2012.

Hi Heather a while back, searching for a recipe reminiscent of my home town Portuguese Sweet Bread. I came across a great looking version with the title “My grandmoms sweet bread recipe” by Farmgirlgourmet.I was so excited to try it but, there was an omission of an ingredient or amount. The photo posted had the same look as the Massa I purchased in local New Bedford bakeries. Was it your posting? And of so,can could you inform me as to how to get that incredible recipe. Thank you Mary Witkowicz
