Spiceologist Block Full Set | savorx.com #spiceologist #savorx

Are you still looking for gifts for the foodie on your list?  Well look no further!  The Spiceologist Block™ that my friend and business partner, Pete Taylor, and I created is handcrafted in Hayden Idaho by a wood artisan named Bill Phillips.  He has magic hands when it comes to creating a beautiful piece of wood!  We hand fill each test tube with fresh spices and they are clearly labeled to make them easy to read while you’re whipping up deliciousness in the kitchen.

Imagine what 22 or 44 containers of spice would look like if you put them all on the counter next to your stove.  A heaping mess, right?  Well the Spiceologist Block™ Full Set has 44 spices – yes I’m serious and it looks like that pic above.  Gorgeous!  44 spices too many?  How about our Starter Block with 22 spices pictured below?

10″x9″x9″ – that’s smaller than your knife block!  Imagine sliding this cutie out and opening up a tube of fresh spices while you’re cooking.  Having your spices close at hand makes you more creative in the kitchen and spices can make a dish soar without even adding salt.  The possibilities are endless.

What a fantastic solution to my kitchen “spice” cabinet! What spices are available?

The description of the Spiceologist Block is vague. What are the dimensions (L x W and ml.) of the spice tubes, what spices are included, are the labels included, preprinted, and already affixed to each of the tubes, and are additional labels (preprinted or blank) available?

Also, is it possible to purchase the Block(s) unfinished?

dimensions of the starter block are 6.5″ wide x 4.5″ deep x 8″ high (with tubes). Tubes are 20ML or 1/8 cup roughly of spice. Starter blocks come with: 4 Peppercorn Mix, Allspice Berries, Anise Seed, Basil, Black Sesame, Cayenne Pepper, Chili Powder, Coriander, Crushed Red Pepper, Cumin Seed, Curry Madras, Fennel Seed, Garlic Granules, Oregano, Pumpkin Spice, Rosemary, Sweet Paprika, Thyme, Turmeric Powder, Wasabi Powder, Whole Cloves, Yellow Mustard.

Labels are all preprinted and affixed to the tubes. No we don’t sell the block unfinished. We are about to launch a new way of selling the block where it will have no spices and you get to pick what you want. The tubes come unlabeled but we do include a preprinted label along with the spices you order so you can attach it yourself. Let me know if you have other questions. I’m happy to answer.

Is it possible to get just the block (no spices or tubes)? I already have the tubes but would love to get a block…..need to measure the tubes first to see if mine would fit your block. Also, I went to a quilt retreat in Hayden Idaho. Such a beautiful place! Thank you!
