Is it really New Years Eve? I mean, didn’t we just celebrate 4th of July? This year has definitely flown by for me. This year I was fortunate enough to focus my time and energy on the things I love…..writing and this blog. No other work distractions, just writing and cooking to my hearts content. I have to say that it was the best year ever. Well almost ever. The year I married my Hubs and the years the kids were born will far out shadow this year, but it’s a close 4th.
So now I look forward to the new year as everyone does. A chance to shed the weight of 2011 and step into a new calendar of 365 days to reinvent, renew and restore. This year I’m not going to make a list of resolutions but instead make better life choices on a daily basis. Work out more, push away from the table sooner and always remember moderation. I think those 3 key factors could make for a spectacular year. Oh and the 4th – Find Joy. If it’s not bringing joy, then I won’t be doing it. Simple as that.
I’m truly looking forward to where Farmgirl Gourmet will go in 2012. Already on the docket are 2 magazine features, an ecookbook and lots of brand sponsored giveaways that YOU will reap the benefits from. I will only be offering you quality giveaways in the future. No more $4 coupons. It needs to be worth your while too, right? That’s just the beginning. I have a gut feeling that this ride is about to get crazy and I’m strapped in and ready for the rollercoaster ride of my life.
Here’s a recap of the last year’s Top 10 most viewed posts of 2011.
