We made it!!

Updated On: Oct 16, 2012

Did you have a wonderful Thanksgiving?  We sure did.  Our table doubled in size this Thanksgiving due to poor driving conditions and it made for an absolutely fun and relaxed day.  Conversation was flowing like the wine and the food was delicious.  All in all it was just a fabulous Thanksgiving with family and great friends.  I hope we’re able to do it again next year!

Here’s what I’m most thankful for:

  • My amazing Husband
  • My 2 beautiful kids
  • My Dad and all he does for us
  • New friends that I think will eventually be “old friends” – The McKercher’s
  • A roof over our heads
  • Snowflakes
  • Juicy turkey
  • Ree Drummond’s Green Bean Casserole – (that I’m going to go eat shortly)
  • And all of my family and friends, near and far – I love you all dearly!
That’s the short list.  I’m sure if I didn’t have a baby hangover that I could rattle on and on, but at this moment those are the things that make me feel full of gratitude.  I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
By the way – this is from a friend on Facebook and I just loved the words so much that I copied it.  Hope you like it too!
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
