A fun and easy recipe for chocolate dipped peeps sitting on Nilla Wafers.
- 1 package of marshmallow Peeps
- 10 Nilla Wafers
- 1/2 pound dark chocolate, chopped
- Place chopped chocolate in the top of a double boiler or a glass bowl set over a small pan of simmering water. Allow to melt slowly and stir only after it's almost melted.
- Use a small spoon and place about 1/4 teaspoon of chocolate on each of the Nilla Wafers. Press the Peep on to the chocolate and allow them to harden, about 5 minutes. Rewarm the melted chocolate if necessary. Dip each Nilla Peep into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment lined baking tray and allow to harden completely. Eat.
